With the
Lights Out
Sixteen original poems, translated into music. A collection that moves from contentment and security through confusion, failure and loss.
Not everything
needs the lights on.
“With the Lights Out” is a collection of poems that I have been working on for many months to get just right. While the title track is a brand new poem, the collection gets its name from another source: a three-track trilogy called “The Transition of Light.”
These tracks tell a story of the transition from contentment, happiness and security through the spiral to confusion, failure and loss.
Three movements.
One descent.
Hear the words
come alive.
Sixteen ways
into the dark.
Every track leads back to the original poem. Read the words first, then hear how Only Anthem translated them into sound.
